Congleton PR pro goes solo
A life-long dream has been realised by a Congleton marketing professional, who launched her own business recently.
Pulman PR was established in October by Vicky Pulman following a career in marketing that has already spanned 15 years.
“I’ve always wanted to do this but the time was never right,” she explained. “I moved around and couldn’t settle on a role after my maternity leave - so this felt like the obvious time to go for it!”
Vicky has lived in Congleton her whole life, and has a 2 year old son with partner Steve.
She continued: “I have craved the flexibility and freedom to work in my own style that freelancing offers. It's been an exciting few months with 3 clients already onboard!”
From a creative background, Vicky’s late father John was an art teacher in nearby Biddulph and both he and her mother Cynthia ran a handmade ceramics firm from their Mossley cottage which has supplied goods for department store John Lewis.
Specialising in a variety of sectors (automotive, equestrian, gastronomic and not-for-profit), Vicky will provide PR, social media management, SEO and in house training.
Vicky has worked on projects for a huge variety of clients including: The Royal Cheshire County Show, Blue Bell BMW/Mini, Pecks Restaurant and Congleton Town Council.
