Cheshire wine school supporting CATH in Chester
Cheshire's wine school has teamed up with Molton Brown to show support for Chester's homeless.
Chester-based business The Wine School of Cheshire has teamed up with luxury retailer Molton Brown Chester to raise funds and awareness for Chester Aid to The Homeless (C.A.T.H.) who this year have been supporting Chester’s homeless community for 25 years.
CATH operate the only day centre in the city for the homeless and rely entirely on donations to continue their outstanding work.
On Thursday 14th December guests can join the wine school team at Molton Brown on Chester’s Northgate Street between 5pm and 8pm for mulled wine (or an alcohol free mulled punch for anyone driving) together with a hand or arm massage from the specialists at Molton Brown.
Guests can enjoy the Winter Watch Parade as it passes the store entrance, making this a truly festive night for an incredibly worthy cause.
Tickets are £10 per person with the full amount being donated to CATH. The mulled wine and treatments are all provided with the compliments of The Wine School of Cheshire and Molton Brown Chester.
Richard Smith, founder of the wine school, said: “There really shouldn’t be any homelessness in our country today yet there are so many causes which we don’t consider.
“CATH is an amazing organisation with some wonderful people giving their time to provide shelter and support for the sadly growing homeless community in our city.
“They not only provide support but prevention methods which include a specialist programme for local businesses to help look out for potential causes of homelessness and hopefully preventing anyone in a vulnerable position from becoming homeless.”
Molton Brown Chester is a longstanding event partner of The Wine School of Cheshire and has generously provided their store space for the event.
Richard added: “We are also asking anyone coming along to donate, if they can, useful items such as new warm socks, protein bars, new blankets and more that can be passed on to CATH.”
Tickets for the event are available at www.cheshire.wine for £10.
